Camping has many loyal friends as the sense of freedom it offers is invaluable! It may seem simple, but when that time comes, it may turn out to be complicated. So before we start either for free or for organized camping, it is advisable to follow the appropriate advice.
The most basic accessory in both camping types is the tent. Therefore, we should choose one that will meet our real needs. Depending on the people of the group, the capacity of the tent is determined.
There are two main types of tents. Those with a skeleton and igloo-like tents that are very simple to set up and you do not need any special knowledge to set up. Therefore, for couples and small groups these are the most appropriate. Just select it based on the people you are plus, counting your stuff as well.
After buying the tent, we will have to try and test it in any free space we have available before the day of the campsite so that we can prepare it with the process.
We do not forget that the scene also wants it to be clean, dry and stored in a dry place.
Also, when the time comes to reuse it, we do not forget to check if everything is OK – if the zippers work, if the ropes are in good condition and if we have all the piles. It is helpful to have some additional pics for us anyway!
Setting the tent
In the case of free camping it is very important to carefully choose the place where we will camp. A perfectly deserted beach sounds like a very good idea, but it is good to choose it if you secure your communication with the rest of the world, especially if you have a boat or you have reached your destination by a means of transport.
There are also secluded beaches or lakes that are offered for camping. There you usually take a boat out of the island and you are advised to go once a day to bring you supplies and to check that there is no urgency.
Obtain a map of the area where you are going to camp!
Make sure that your place is protected from rocks, that there is no danger of water accumulation in the event of rain, and of course you should make sure that it is shade. What we definitely need is flat and dry soil to deeply place the piles you will nail.
Once the field of action has been chosen, we start manual work.
We remove the useless things from the area where we will set up everything that can hurt us, like stones and twigs. After we finish with the preliminary, we begin by reading the manufacturer’s instruction leaflet to set the tent stretching very well to make no wrinkles, and making sure it is firmly secured so that it is not endangered by the air.
Sow the pikes obliquely, making it harder to leave the ground. Also, we should not forget that around our tent we will need to dig a groove that will lead to the possible presence of water away. In the market there is a special anti-rope indretning with which we surround the tent. This rope contains chemicals that remove all animals with a developed sense of smell, such as snakes and mice.
Still, we need to know that the light on the tent acts as a shadow theater for those who are out. When we need to dismantle the stage, carefully remove the piles, store them separately from the fabric and clean the stage with plain water. If its waterproof property is lost, we pass it with the special spray that is being circulated for this purpose.
